Cowes Week 2010 Saturday 31st July - Saturday 7th August
Cowes Week is now considered to be the largest, most successful, sailing regatta in the world. It is a week-long celebration of yachting based from the Isle of Wight town of Cowes. Every yacht, from small dinghies, through to ocean racing Maxis, will be on the Solent, competing. It is the south coast's "be seen" event of the year, with a shore based carnival atmosphere to rival any.
Cowes Week Hospitality
With Marine Events, you're sure to feel part of Cowes Week. We charter some of the best and most luxurious sailing yachts and powerboats; we take you close to the action; we show you the sights and we make sure your time on the Solent lacks nothing. Be assured this will be an event you will never forget!
The week of racing comes to a finale on Friday evening with a spectacular fireworks display that lights up the Solent for miles around.
Marine Events offer packages throughout the week on all our yachts and powerboats, or a combination of both; ideal spectator vessels for getting up close to view these incredible Cowes Week racing yachts.
Extended Cowes Week packages can be arranged with evening meals included onboard or ashore; allowing you to watch the Friday night fireworks, or just to spend an evening experiencing some of the land based entertainment.
Marine Events have always proved to be an extremely well organised and professional company that offer an excellent day's sailing to the corporate market ensuring guests have a fun day out and I have no hesitation in recommending them to our clients.
